At the 8th Asian Pediatric Pulmonology and Airway Conference (APPAC) 2024 held in Jakarta on July 21, 2024, Dr. Ni Komang Tri Utami Handayani from the ENT-HL Department/KSM, Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University/Prof. Dr. I.G.N.G. Ngoerah Hospital, won 2nd Place in the Poster Presentation category.

This international conference carried the theme “Pediatric Tracheostomy, Laryngotracheal Reconstruction, Slide Tracheoplasty” and featured world-renowned pediatric airway experts such as Michael Rutter, MD; Henry Tan, MD; Alan Cheng, MD; Kuo Sheng Lee, MD; and Goh Bee See, MD.

This achievement is a testament to the fact that the academic contributions and research from ENT-HL UNUD/Prof. Dr. I.G.N.G. Ngoerah Hospital are competitive at the international level. The accomplishment not only enhances the institution’s reputation but also strengthens the role of ENT-HL in advancing medical science, education, and healthcare services, particularly in the field of pediatric airway management.
