The process of providing education in Ear Nose Throat, Head and Neck Surgery Specialist Study Program, Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University always adheres to the Indonesian Medical Council Regulation number 45 of 2016, concerning Educational Standards and Competency Standards for Specialists in Ear Nose Throat, Head and Neck Surgery Specialist Study Program. In order to maintain the quality of education, periodic monitoring and evaluation of the implementation of specialist doctor education follows the established standards.

In the formulation of the Strategic Plan of the Ear Nose Throat, Head and Neck Surgery Specialist Study Program, Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University was prepared by considering all positive and constructive inputs from internal and external stakeholders, in order to achieve superior, independent and culture conscious. To facilitate input from both parties in the formulation of a strategic plan from the the Ear Nose Throat, Head and Neck Surgery Specialist Study Program, Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University, the Strategic Plan Workshop and Curriculum Workshop of the the Ear Nose Throat, Head and Neck Surgery Specialist Study Program, Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University were carried out Sunday, 26th June 2022 at Tjokorda Rai Meeting Room, Cakra Vidya Usadha building, 3rd floor, Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University.

This meeting was attended by 45 invitees including representatives from the Bali Provincial Health Office, representatives from IDI Bali, Dean of Faculty of Medicine Udayana, Representative of the Dean of FKIK Warmadewa, Coordinator of the ENT Study Program at RSUP Prof. dr. I.G.N.G. Ngoerah, Head of the ENT Department of RSUP RSUP Prof. dr. I.G.N.G. Ngoerah, Chairman of PERHATI-KL Bali-NTT, Representative of FK Unud from UP3M, UP2M and UPIKS,  representatives of KOMKORDIK FK UNUD, representatives of Network Hospitals include the director of RSPTN, director of Balimed, ENT Section of Mangusada Hospital, ENT Section of Wangaya Hospital, ENT Section of Sanjiwani Hospital, Lecturers and Teaching Staff of the Department of ENT-KL RSUP Prof. dr. I.G.N.G. Ngoerah, education staff of the Department of ENT-KL RSUP Prof. dr. I.G.N.G. Ngoerah, Representative of ENT-KL Alumni of RSUP Prof. dr. I.G.N.G. Ngoerah, as well as several resident of ENT-KL of RSUP Prof. dr. I.G.N.G. Ngoerah.

In this meeting, has produced a draft of Strategic Plan and Vision and Mission as well as the Goals and Objectives of the Study Program which will later be used as a basic guidelines in the implementation and implementation of educational activities in the Ear Nose Throat, Head and Neck Surgery Specialist Study Program, Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University. The following is the conclusion of the Vision and Mission in the the Ear Nose Throat, Head and Neck Surgery Specialist Study Program, Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University.

Vision

Producing superior, independent, and culture-conscious ORL-HNS professionals specializing in overcoming hearing loss and deafness and are able to compete at the national, regional, and global levels by 2025.

The terms 'superior, independent, and culture conscious' in this context are defined as follows:

1. Superior: equipped with the comparative, competitive, and innovative expertise in the ORL-HNS field, specializing in overcoming hearing loss and deafness at the local, national, and international levels; also can contribute significantly to the development of science, technology, and the community.

2. Independent: equipped with leadership and entrepreneurial skills to optimally manage resources to create beneficial innovations for humankind and the development of science in ORL-HNS, especially in treating hearing loss and deafness.

3. Culture conscious: are able to uphold the academic culture based on Pancasila and local wisdom with universally-accepted values to interact with the community by prioritizing honesty and harmony between good intentions, words, and deeds (Tri Kaya Parisudha).
