Visitation for Resident’s Rotation Placement Plan Academic

ENT-HNS Health Sciences Study Program, Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University, held a visitation to several Regional General Hospitals on October 12^th-13^th, 2022. This visitation was carried out in the context of Resident’s Rotation Placement plan. Hospitals that were visited were Singaraja Regional General Hospital, Bangli Regional General Hospital, and Bali Mandara Regional General Hospital.

This visitation was one of ENT-HNS Health Sciences Study Program’s effort to improve knowledge, skills, and independence of residents in managing cases according to the competencies that have been determined.

Discussion was held between the hospital management, the Education Coordinating Committee (Komkordik), the Medical Staff Group (KSM) and representatives from the ENT-HNS Health Science Study Program, Faculty of Medicine Udayana University. The topics discussed included outpatient services, inpatient services, top 10 cases, and the type of surgeries handled at the hospital. This was followed by visitation to the inpatient ward, ENT-HNS polyclinic, operating theatre, and emergency department.

It is hoped that with this visitation, good cooperation can be established between the Regional General Hospital and ENT-HNS Health Science Study Program, Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University.
