The ENT-HL Department and Study Program, Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University/Prof. Dr. I.G.N.G. Ngoerah Hospital, joined in commemorating World Head and Neck Cancer Day 2024 by organizing a series of activities focused on education and raising public awareness.
This commemoration serves as an important moment to remind the public that head and neck cancers remain a serious health challenge. Through these activities, it is hoped that the community will gain a better understanding of the importance of prevention, early detection, and access to appropriate treatment for head and neck cancer patients.
Moreover, the activities highlight the significance of collaboration and unity among all stakeholders in closing gaps in cancer care. Support from various layers of society plays a vital role in providing hope, improving quality of life, and advocating for equitable healthcare services for those affected by cancer.
With the spirit of togetherness, let us continue to move forward in creating positive change and building broader awareness about head and neck cancers.
