"Awareness of Noise among Young People" at Afternoon Tea with Radio Republik Indonesia (RRI) Denpasar Academic
The Otorhinolaryngology-Head and
Neck Surgery (ORL-HNS) study program, Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University,
together with Radio Republik Indonesia (RRI) Denpasar have held an educational
broadcast "Afternoon Tea" which took place at the RRI Denpasar Public
Broadcasting Institute on Monday, March 4 2024 with the theme "Awareness
of Noise in Young Children ”. The speakers presented in this broadcast was dr.
Ketut Tadeus Max Nurcahya Pinatih, Sp. T.H.T.B.K.L. and dr. I Gusti Ayu
Mahaprani Danastri, Sp. T.H.T.B.K.L. which discusses the importance of public
awareness, especially young people, about noise. The speakers explained the
sources and causes of noise, the dangers and diseases that can result from
exposure to noise, examinations or early detection that can be carried out, and
most importantly, the prevention that can be done from exposure to noise. This
broadcast was also carried out Live on the RRI Denpasar Youtube Channel.
On this occasion, the ORL-HNS study program, Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University presented several songs performed by the band De Bongol. The band De Bongol is a band started by dr. Eka Putra Setiawan, Sp. T.H.T.B.K.L., Subsp.Oto.(K). The songs they performed were his own creations.
