Department of Otorhinolaryngologists Head and Neck Surgery on 64th years of BKFK Academic

February to March 2024 became a very festive month for the academic community of the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University. This is due to a series of activities in the framework of BKFK or the Family Board of the Faculty of Medicine where this year is the 62nd BKFK celebration.

Department of Otorhinolaryngologists Head and Neck Surgery did not escape the euphoria of happiness to welcome the anniversary of the Faculty of Medicine of Udayana University. Department of Otorhinolaryngologists Head and Neck Surgery participated in a series of 62nd year of BKFK activities where the theme of this year's BKFK was Shankara: Shining Actualization, Knightly Realization.

The 62nd year of BKFK series that we participated in began with a non-academic competition, namely the Mobile Legends Competition: Bang Bang on February 7th , 2024 and PUBG Competition on February 12th, 2024 represented by residents of the Department of Otorhinolaryngologists Head and Neck Surgery. Then a series of activities that are no less interesting are Community Service activities and Fun Bike held on February 11, 2024. The activity was attended by the entire academic community the Faculty of Medicine Udayana University, especially the Department of Otorhinolaryngologists Head and Neck Surgery. Not only residents of the Department of Otorhinolaryngologists Head and Neck Surgery, but our consultant, Dr. dr. Sari Wulan Dwi Sutanegara, Sp.T.H.T.B.K.L., Subsp. Rino(K), FICS participated in this activity. Fun Bike activities started from FK Udayana University and finished at Muntig Siokan Mertasari Beach and continued with community service activities around the event location.

            In addition to these activities, the Department of Otorhinolaryngologists Head and Neck Surgery also participated in sports competitions, including Badminton competitions represented by our consul, Dr. Agus Rudi Astutha, Sp.T.H.T.B.K.L., Subsp. F.P.R. (K) and also residents of the Department of Otorhinolaryngologists Head and Neck Surgery. The badminton competition was held on February 15th, 2024. Together with the badminton competition, on the same day, we also participated in the Profile Video Competition and the Speech Video Competition which will be published on social media in March when welcoming the peak of 62nd year of BKFK.

            Another sports competition that was also participated by the Department of Otorhinolaryngologists Head and Neck Surgery was the Futsal Competition held on February 17-18th, 2024 where the Department of Otorhinolaryngologists Head and Neck Surgery joined with General Surgeon to become a team to participate in the competition and could reach the quarter-final round. And on February 24-25th , 2024, the Department of Otorhinolaryngologists Head and Neck Surgery also joined Dermato Venerologist, Neurosurgeon, Orthopaedics and Pulmonologist to form a team to advance in the Basketball Competition and managed to become 3rd place in this competition.
            On February 19th, 2024, the Department of Otorhinolaryngologists Head and Neck Surgery brought good news because its representatives in the Vocal Group Competition won the Favorite Champion in the competition. And on February 20th, 2024, representatives from the Department of Otorhinolaryngologists Head and Neck Surgery also won 3rd place in the Solo Vocal Competition. On February 21st, 2024 the Department of Otorhinolaryngologists Head and Neck Surgery also participated in the Band Competition, where all of these competitions were represented by residents of the Department of Otorhinolaryngologists Head and Neck Surgery who were talented in their fields.

There are many more series of 62nd year of BKFK activities that will be held and of course the Department of Otorhinolaryngologists Head and Neck Surgery will participate in the series of activities. Keep working and achieving as a big family of the Department of Otorhinolaryngologists Head and Neck Surgery, Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University.
